Nutanix is seeking a passionate and skilled QA professional for the position of Member of Technical Staff 3 – QA. You’ll work closely with a group of talented engineers to ensure the highest quality in Nutanix’s cutting-edge hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.

Your Role:

• Build and enhance QA automation frameworks using Python.
• Design test strategies based on product requirements, covering automation, system testing, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure code is testable and create any required test hooks.
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and provide solutions aligned with requirements.
• Lead and execute product testing efforts, ensuring deadlines are met with proper resource management.
• Mentor junior engineers, review their work, and build processes that improve team efficiency.
• Partner with Nutanix’s global engineering teams (primarily India and the USA).

Key Technical Skills:

Python, Test Automation, Kubernetes, QA Testing Processes, Debugging, Distributed Systems, Storage Technologies, Cloud-Native Applications

Requirements:

• BE or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of software testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools.
• Strong knowledge of Python scripting.
• Understanding of scalable systems, distributed systems, and storage solutions.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments (preferred).
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot failures effectively.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Work Arrangement:

This is a hybrid role that blends remote work with in-office collaboration (minimum 3 days per week). The exact schedule will depend on team needs.
